Set on 7 acres of lush green native bush with tree ferns and towering mountain ash, down a long winding driveway you’re transported into an idyllic forest setting. If you’re wanting peace and quiet this retreat is for you. We have several private cottages for you to choose from, as well as an expansive 5 bedroom lodge. See the cottage pages as we’re sure to have one to suit your needs. Most cottages have free wifi available, and all have open fires with an unlimited wood supply.

Fernglen Forest Retreat is located only 2 blocks from Tatra wedding receptions. It’s also within a short drive from other wedding venues such as SkyHigh, Poets Lane, Lyrebird Falls, Nathania Springs, and Mist to name a few. This makes our accommodation perfect for wedding groups, as well as families and couples. Many brides take advantage of the stunning native grounds, with towering mountain ash as a backdrop for their photos.
