THE DRIVEWAY Please note that if heading to Brook Cottage, Windmill Lodge or Jacuzzi Lodge, that there are two sharp hairpin turns in the driveway. Take these slowly. The driveway is safe but it is quite steep and can make people feel nervous. Just drive slowly and carefully and you will be OK. Larger trucks should not enter as they will be unable to clear the turns. Vans are utes are fine.
The natural environment in the Dandenong Ranges
Please note the Dandenong Ranges is home many animals and also to small little bugs which is a natural part of our ecosystem. You may encounter or hear some animals while staying with us, including noise from birdsong and possums. Small little bugs can also sometimes get inside and we do our very best to gently remove them during changeover.
Connectivity in The Dandenong Ranges
Phone service is touchy in the Dandenong Ranges. We encourage or guests to use wifi calling while staying with us. We offer high speed internet (1ooMB). However we can't ensure no issues due to weather or maintenance.
Please Note that Hume Lane and Fernglen Avenue that lead to our cottages are 600 meters of gravel roads. These roads are graded regularly by shire however at times can be corrugated so please drive slowly on these. We apologise about these and the entire street is appealing to Shire to have these roads paved.
